All replacement parts are not equal, either in quality, longevity or cost. In some cases, the least expensive is the best part, in other cases the difference in quality warrants going with the higher price. We spend a lot of time locating and pricing the best part, not necessarily the best profit, when putting your estimate together.

A good example is rebuilt alternators and starters. They can sure be bought cheap! Some even come with unreal warranties. But the real fact is that those warranties will be invoked again and again, until you tire of the game. The alternators and starters we use are the best balance of price, dependability and warranty. Our commitment to quality parts is such that I took a trip to the rebuilding plant to see the internal quality for myself.

At Greg's, we still operate like the old days. We search for the best quality, at the best price and buy the item from that supplier. If his other lines don't meet our standards, we don't buy anything else from him. It drives 'em crazy, because they want all of our business. We are also real fond of factory parts. We include the dealership when we are looking for the best part. Sometimes they surprise and have a very good price, too!

The major reason for the time we spend searching for parts is to assure you that your repair lasts as long as possible. Even the best parts fail prematurely at times, don't we all know.
