Great and courteous service! They make recommendations regarding needed services but respect my decision to procrastinate or ignore until I feel it is warranted. I have been having the families cars serviced here for several years. I am appreciative that they expanded to the Helix location as it is incredibly convenient! Keep up the great work and you will have lifelong customers such as us!

Have been taking my cars to Gregg's for many years. They replaced the motor on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee which bought me another 45k miles until I sold it. They have always been square with me, never over selling. I brought my new (used) Toyota for an opinion before I finalized the deal and they really set my mind at ease. 60k later, its still running great and they continue to do all the regular maintenance on it.

very friendly and timely service. went in for a check in engine light and was called and told the estimate and what the problem was. about what i expected. my only gripe is that when i came in later in the week for a smog test, with an 8 AM appt, my car wasn't seen for another hour!! wtf is the appt for then? i went there because they came highly recommended. i'd probably still go back but wasn't happy at all about the wait.

I just moved here and was referred to these guys. After one visit I'm already a loyal customer. They were fast, fair, and thorough. I appreciated that they were willing to list out all the problems my car had and prioritize them so that I didn't spend unnecessarily.

I think their service is good. I had an AC problem and got a quote from a dealer. Without telling them what the dealer said, I asked Gregs El Cajon to diagnose the AC. They came up with the same problem, but looked for a less expensive alternate replacement part. 28000 miles later, the AC is stlll going. I saved about $200. Just brought it in for service and asked for the standard dealer maintenance service per the owners manual. Instead he offered to inspect and tell me what I needed rather than replacing things I didnt need to. I didnt tell them i think I needed brakes. I was sure I did. Gregs came back and said I only needed front and that the rear "had some life left". They ended replacing some things that i have not replaced since owning my 125000 mile vehicle and giving me a heads up on some future issues but did not push about doing it NOW. I dont get the feeling they up charge. Cars cost money. Service is always expensive. I think they tell you what money is better spent and when. They also got my car back to me when promised both times. Ill be back.

We drive our cars (Toyota and Chevy) for years and Greg's Automotive in Helix has kept them running and safe. They help us prioritize what needs to be done today vs. what needs to be monitored for the longer term. When we have questions about costs, they're very clear on how we're being billed and what things cost. If there's a problem after a service or work is done (and that's rare, but it can happen), we've taken it back, they made adjustments and they called us later to be sure everything was running.
